What’s the job?

You are a relationship builder through and through. You love to meet with people and put yourself out there to make those connections. Working as part of Coast Capital’s Auto and Equipment finance team you enjoy the challenge of asking for business and helping small to medium businesses grow through offering an excellent suite of financial products. Through the collaboration of our Sales Support and Credit teams, you’ll be able to focus on what you do best – finding and closing deals.

 

What you’ll get to do:

  • Hunt for new business both through warm leads as well as cold calling targeting mainly commercial end-users and equipment vendors in the transportation, construction, and manufacturing sectors
  • Build relationships through your local business community and create opportunity for both short and long term deals typically ranging from $100K-2MM  
  • Work with key influencers, trade, and business associations to build brand awareness and referral opportunities
  • Collaborate with a highly effective team to creatively approach structuring financial deals
  • Become an expert in competitive analysis to capitalize on market development and competitive trends
  • Have lots of room to grow through training opportunities

 

Who are we looking for?

  • 1+ years sales experience ideally in B2B sales. Experience with direct equipment finance and/or leasing will be an asset.
  • Track record of executing successful cold-calling / prospecting / pipeline development strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Sterling reputation for honesty and integrity in all client and employee interactions
