What’s the Job?

 

The Brand Manager’s role is to lead and project manage the development, execution, and reporting of small, medium, and large marketing campaigns that support the Marketing team’s objectives and key results (OKRs). This includes: owning the development of insight-driven marketing strategies and creative briefs to support key priority Coast 2025 initiatives; leading the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns in partnership with external and internal creative and media resources; overseeing campaign production (including budgets); completing and presenting post-campaign reporting and analysis to SLT; leading components of cross-functional quarterly and annual planning, in coordination with the Director, Brand Marketing and broader Marketing team. The role includes marketing support for Coast’s retail, commercial, and auto equipment finance verticals.

 

What You’ll get to do:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns in partnership with external and internal creative and media resources, owning assigned projects from inception to post-campaign reporting and analysis.
  • Identify member insight gaps required to drive future marketing strategies, and partner with research and enterprise analytics teams to source, distill and analyze data to create better informed and more effective marketing strategies.
  • Proactively identify and implement marketing and brand opportunities for optimization, informed by actively participating in ongoing brand tracking and NPS research meetings.
  • Leverage data to provide insights that inform brand strategies, and pivot existing strategies in the market as required, with the ultimate goal of supporting the successful delivery of Coast’s OKRs.
  • Represent the member cross-functionally at Coast, identifying and advocating for member-first communications and experience approaches in everything that we do.
  • Provide strategic marketing, brand, and creative input and leadership in all assigned member processes, forms and communications as they pertain to campaign success and improve member processes.
  • Lead the development, presentation, and future application of post-campaign reporting – presenting up to the Senior Leadership Team - distilling multiple data sources into clear and actionable insights to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Lead the development of reporting and list requirements, partnering with Enterprise Analytics and CRM Team on data requests as appropriate.
  • Collect and synthesize data from corporate sources (DASH and CRM) and first and third-party research, to provide insights and recommendations based on the collected data.
  • Initiate and leads campaign meetings with stakeholders to collaboratively define objectives for member and staff campaigns to develop campaign briefs and is accountable for the effective launch and delivery of campaign initiatives.
  • Identify, develop and provides sales support and training materials/tools on marketing campaigns and new customer processes.
  • Develop campaign collateral, working with internal stakeholders and vendors, to support marketing campaigns.
  • Proactively liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth rollout of annual marketing plans, projects and campaigns.

 

Who we are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience in brand marketing or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)  Ability to manipulate data in MS Access/Excel
  • Proven experience writing creative briefs for various channels and managing a production process
  • Email marketing experience
  • Experience utilizing a CRM system (Salesforce) preferred
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workloads with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to build and foster relationships and work in a collaborative environment
  • High levels of initiative and ability to work in a largely self-directed manner
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, exercise good judgement in problem-solving and decision making
  • Strong communication, writing, presentation and listening skills
  • Strong analytical skills
