Financial Analyst Manager - 18 Month Temporary

Through the creation of in depth financial planning models for compensation calculations, variance analysis and annual planning cycles you will work across different departments of the Auto and Equipment Finance Group to deliver great value to the organization.

 

What you’ll get to do:

  • Prepare and may participate in delivery and/or presentation of modeling information to various stakeholders including, management, executives, business units, CTG Board members and auditors.
  • Provide insight into drivers of financial performance to better understand the operations of the business
  • Provide support to business partners in the annual planning/budgeting process and monthly forecast update.
  • Work with business partners to ensure analysis provided is relevant and actionable.
  • Research and develop complex driver based planning models to assist business partners with better decision making.
  • Collaborate with key departments to enhance and develop financial planning models.
  • Responsible to ensure accuracy of sales compensation models and submissions to CCS HR payroll.
  • Develop and maintain key policies, guidelines and procedural manuals for review by Auto and Equipment senior management.
  • Regularly conduct post-reviews to assess completeness and opportunities for improvement in planning models.
     

Who are we looking for?

 

  • 4+ years of experience with business case development and business modeling and good working knowledge of IFRS – an accounting designation is preferred
  • Proven abilities in MS product suite and business modelling software
  • Substantial working knowledge of accounting standards and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent critical and analytical thinking skills with both short and long term views
  • Abilities to prioritize tasks as needed and operate in a dynamic environment
  • Strong relationship building skills to work with cross functional teams
  • A creative mind – not afraid to search our new ideas, methods, and means of doing things and providing recommended solutions.
