Job Purpose
As the Customer Care Representative, you are the first point of contact support for general inquiries for Coast’s Auto and Equipment customers and sales team members. In this position, you will effectively resolve customer complaints through e-mail and phone. The Customer Care Representative leads by example in demonstrating service excellence and the ability to embrace change.
Accountabilities
- Communicate effectively with various external customers and members, as well as our internal team members in the Auto and Equipment group.
- Respond to customer calls and e-mails accurately within established time frames.
- Demonstrate a high degree of care and provide excellent candidate experience in all interactions.
- Identify areas for improvement for inefficient or ineffective processes through innovative thinking.
- Exercise solid relationship-building skills to provide excellent service delivery.
- Be an expert on our Auto and Equipment products and policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 Years of job-related experience. Customer Service experience and/or experience in the automotive/equipment finance/leasing industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Accurate and efficient keyboarding and data entry skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills to support high productivity
- Sound knowledge and application of appropriate telephone etiquette skills
- Ability to contribute to a positive team environment by working efficiently, professionally and in a friendly manner
- Superior problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate well to present a professional image verbally, written and over the phone
- Must demonstrate initiative and work independently as part of a high performing team
- Able to maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast paced and changing environment
- Ability to deal effectively and promptly with customer complaints
