What’s the job?
The Funding Representative is responsible for verifying and validating approved lease and loan applications and other supporting documents. The incumbent ensures that all critical information is accurate and complete to support the release of funds to the vendor. In addition, the Funding Representative for the Broker Desk performs audits to verify and validate lease and loan documentation files submitted for funding.
What you’ll get to do:
- Act as a key customer liaison to the Account Executive team by managing day-to-day client inquiries
- Use online client management tools to ensure timely processing of financing requests
- Proactive engagement/collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of credit submissions and contracts
- Regular maintenance of client databases / daily transactional reporting
- Maintain regular client contact to facilitate timely collection of credit information
- Timely submission of completed credit packages for risk adjudication
- Monitor the progress of credit applications from submission through to the funding stages
- Proactively follow up to address any outstanding audit requirements or deficiencies
- Timely generation and distribution of client documentation for execution
- Coordination of client signatures
- Schedule meetings and prepare meeting agendas for Account Executive and Senior Leadership teams
- Generate weekly and monthly dashboard reports as required
- Regular updating of CRM with relevant client info, including change of status, contact information, transaction notes and key activities
- Maintain rigorous quality controls, ensuring the accuracy of credit submissions and client documentation
Who are we looking for?
- Here’s what you bring to our outstanding team:
- A minimum of one year’s experience. Experience in the finance and leasing industry is considered an asset.
- High School Diploma
- Developing and managing relationships through effective communication is key for this role.
- With a superior technical aptitude, learning a variety of accounting platforms/ CRM tools will be easy for you, and basic PC technical troubleshooting skills will help empower you to self-serve.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team to increase efficiencies and facilitate issue resolutions
- Ability to be flexible for job assignments, workload and time management
