Job Purpose
The Marketing Specialist’s chief mandate is to support the Marketing Strategy & Planning team with the planning, development and implementation of member-centric marketing programs and campaigns that engage members, deepen member relationships and drive business results.
Accountabilities
- Leads the development of targeted lists for call leads, emails and online banking messages, coordinating with the Enterprise Analytics, CRM, distribution and Marketing teams
- Works within established go-to-market process to develop campaign collateral, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Participates in the planning and development of automated member experiences across multiple channels
- Develops and coordinates deployment of marketing member communication across multiple channels
- Develops email journeys for campaigns which integrate member segmentation and behavior
- Analyzes and reviews performance results and recommends and executes on optimizations
- Coordinates and participates in recurring huddle calls and meetings to drive business objectives
- Coordinates member events
Skills & Qualifications
- High School and a Diploma, plus Specialized Certification/Professional Designation: Marketing related education preferred
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in similar role or with similar comparable work.
- Ability to manipulate data in MS Access/Excel
- Proven experience writing creative briefs for various channels and managing a production process
- Email marketing experience
- Experience utilizing a CRM system (Salesforce)
- Ability to manage and prioritize workloads with minimal supervision
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to build and foster relationships and work in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication, writing, presentation and listening skills
- Strong analytical skills
