What's the job?
As a Product Manager, Investments, you will be responsible for supporting Coast Capital's investment product lines (Mutual Funds, Sustainable Funds, ETFs, Fee-based Accounts, SMAs) through a broad range of product management and sales enablement-related responsibilities. This is a highly encompassing role responsible for thought leadership and building a working knowledge of all aspects of Coast's investment product shelf to elevate Coast's "Everyday Wealth Creation" value proposition for members. Working within cross-functional teams that are organized around the 'Planning' end-to-end member journey, you will also contribute to the success of the Wealth Management division by performing various activities, including recommendation and evaluation of investment products/funds, contributing to strategic initiatives and representing Coast Capital when liaising with strategic external partners.
What you'll get to do:

Drive the planning and execution of key initiatives around the investment product shelf as required to optimize the product line's success.

Act as a key resource for distribution (Retail, Wealth and Business Banking) and as a liaison and first point of contact for Coast's strategic third-party partners.

Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support product positioning and various campaigns and develop content/materials (presentations, articles and thought leadership).

Play an active role in strengthening our operational foundations by helping to stand up a newly formed investment committee, driving the evolution and expansion of Coast's MFDA/IIROC service models, and working toward continuously improving our infrastructure and processes.

Actively identify new product opportunities, support product developments and cross-functional launch efforts for new initiatives in the portfolio, including enhancements to existing focus lists.

Understand, manage, and monitor the organization's portfolio of investment products and track/analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve objectives, key results, and the broader Coast 2025 corporate strategy.

Develop and deliver key reporting elements and ensure Coast leadership is well-informed on the business line's performance.

Continuously evolve the product shelf by building relationships with Coast advisors and collaborating with the Enterprise Research team to develop a strong feedback channel to understand how the product shelf could better meet observed member needs.

Provide oversight and management of investment programs for strategic partners.

Execute risk management and compliance monitoring activities as needed.
Who are we looking for?

5+ years of gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current wealth management and asset management ecosystem and applicable regulations, strong business acumen with a depth knowledge of the financial metrics that drive performance

Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study in business, commerce or economics. An MBA or other post-graduate Degree or equivalent industry-related experience preferred

CFA/CIM/CFP an asset

Strong abilities in financial and market analysis and insights, project management skills, communication skills to construct a diverse set of content/material and comfortable in presenting ideas and voicing concerns

Identify trends and monitor the competitive landscape to determine impacts on the organization's product roadmap and uncover opportunities for innovation, growth and risk mitigation.

Maintains market intelligence and develops strategies to take advantage of emerging trends and keep the product shelf current

Exhibits curiosity and a desire for continuous learning

Able to partner and grow relationships across the organization, including the executive team, and internal and external stakeholders, across marketing, IT, finance and channels

Drive or support various projects across the portfolio, working with EPMO and working groups.
