What’s the job?
The Sales Compensation Administration Analyst provides analytical, processing and administrative support for the sales compensation operational process through the various phases of planning, design, implementation, administration and assessment. This is a 0.5 FTE position.
What you’ll get to do:
- Configure sales calculations systems based on plan design to perform payout calculations for sales teams.
- Access relevant data, process sales compensation calculations and submit payout to payroll according to established timelines.
- Coordinate with business lines and other organizational analysts to build required datasets of the identified metrics for calculations.
- Review modeling and forecasting of Finance Business Partners under guidance of Sales Compensation Specialist.
- Update plan documents using standardized templates and create plan calculators for employee use.
- Create reports and analysis to demonstrate production and payout trends for all levels (Employee to Board Director).
- Provide guidance and answer employee questions on sales processing working with Sales Compensation Specialist as needed.
- Escalate issues to appropriate levels as required and obtain approvals as necessary.
- Identify ways to automate and/or streamline processes, partnering with internal teams where necessary.
- Provide recommendations into governance activities and process as necessary.
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in HR, Business, Finance or related discipline.
- You have 3+ previous administrative experience processing sales compensation.
- You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales compensation platforms.
- You are proficient in sales compensation design principles.
- You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and macros.
- You are a strong verbal and written communicator and feel comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization.
- You are a problem solver at heart and can identify a problem and ideate a solution for discussion.
