Sales Compensation Specialist

What’s the job?
The Sales Compensation Specialist leads the sales compensation operational process including planning, design, implementation, administration and assessment. Instructs a small team that implements and operationalizes sales processing activities.
What you’ll get to do:
- Lead the standardized sales planning process, ensuring all relevant steps are completed including plan design approval
- Facilitate sales design and assessment activities with relevant stakeholders
- Establish the identification of metrics and production sources with cross-functional business leaders and organizational analysts
- Contribute to the business crediting rules and target setting process in order to align compensation
- Coordinate modeling and forecasting with Finance Business Partners and communications with HR Business Partners
- Provide market analysis and plan effectiveness feedback summaries to support recommended plan changes
- Provide guidance to Sales leadership, HR Business Partners related to sales compensation practices including compliance requirements
- Identify ways to automate and/or streamline processes, partnering with internal teams where necessary
- Provide recommendations into governance activities and process as necessary
- Oversee the day-to-day functions of administration analysts
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in HR, Business, Finance or related discipline.
- You have 7+ previous administrative experience processing sales compensation.
- You have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales compensation platforms.
- You have advanced knowledge of sales compensation design principles and a proficient knowledge of sales governance.
- You pride yourself on understanding the business in which you work in and have a solid business acumen.
- Beyond your excellent verbal and written communication, you have previous experience in stakeholder management.
- You are a problem solver at heart and can identify a problem and ideate a solution for discussion.
- You have previous leadership experience and have managed direct reports.
- You are comfortable facilitating complex concepts to all levels of the organization.
