Senior Manager, Financial Intelligence

What’s the job?

Act as the subject-matter expert and manager of the financial intelligence unit within Coast Capital, including ensuring detection, prevention and reporting of financial crimes matters are effectively handled through people, process and technology.

 

What you’ll get to do:

  • Leads processes and technology relating to fraud and AMLATF rapid disposition and alert triage, including rules development and augmentation
  • Leads processes and technology relating to fraud and AMLATF escalations and investigations and discretionary reporting
  • Manages enterprise response to reporting forms and upcoming changes
  • Develops processes and procedures for ongoing member risk management
  • Leads the oversight of outsourced partners and vendors to ensure quality and alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Act as a point of escalation and exercise delegated authority on decision points as necessary
  • Leads and develops data gathering, and associated KPI and KRI reporting.

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • A certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation is preferred.
  • 7-9 years of experience in AMLATF risk management and technology required.
  • Technology implementation experience desired
  • Preferred people management and coaching experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced ability to align processes to policies and procedures.
  • Advanced ability to gather data and create reports.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Advanced prioritization skills.
  • Advanced organizational skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
