Job Purpose
The Senior Sales Support (SSS) acts as the key customer interface for the Sales Department. The SSS is responsible for the coordination of all client financing requests, effectively managing each stage of the credit application, contract execution and funding process. The SSS will be responsible for managing requests in both the direct and indirect business channels within AEF. In the indirect channel, the SSS will assist the Relationship Manager with fulfilling requests from AEFs dealership/broker partners. This role is proactive in connecting with Dealer/Broker partners, training and completing the sales process. The SSS contributes to the overall success of the Sales Department growth and ensures initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. The SSS is responsible for ensuring all activities conducted comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Act as a key customer liaison for Coast Auto and Equipment Finance by managing day-to-day client inquiries.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk.
- Monitor progress of credit applications from submission through to funding stages.
- Generate weekly and monthly dashboard reports as required.
- Maintain rigorous quality controls, ensuring accuracy of credit submissions and client documentation.
- Collaborate with and assist the Relationship Manager, in fulfilling dealership/broker requests such as liaising with internal departments to review dealer escalations.
- Contacting dealerships/broker and providing them information on the AEF financing program.
- Assisting dealerships/brokers with applications submitted via the Dealertrack/CDP portal.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 – 6 Years of Job-Related Experience. Experience in the equipment finance and leasing industry is considered an asset.
- CCS will require individuals who are fully fluent in English. Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
- Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study or equivalent work experience.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong IT proficiency - adapting easily to a variety of accounting platforms/ CRM tools.
- Proficient at reading Credit Bureau reports.
- Experience in the sales process to closing of the sale.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly collaborative, with a keen focus on the customer.
- Ability to influence others.
- Able to work well as part of a team to increase efficiencies and facilitate issues resolutions.
- Ability to be flexible with respect to job assignments and workload.
