Social and Performance Media Manager (15-months Temporary Position)

What’s the job?
As a Social and Performance Media Manager, you are responsible for driving new member acquisition through the effective development, implementation and management of performance digital marketing strategies. You are a thought leader for the organization, identifying and tracking industry trends across digital marketing channels. Supported by the Senior Manager, Deposits & Payments, you will lead creative content and asset development in all digital channels and manages the end-to-end program. Also, you will draw on an understanding of user experience best practices, targeting techniques, SEO/SEM, online advertising and analytics/measurement required to maximize marketing results and conversion opportunities. 

 

What you’ll get to do:
• Identify, develop and implement paid digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions, including social advertising, display advertising, native advertising, search engine marketing, sponsored content partnerships, affiliate marketing and influencer marketing.
• Write creative briefs for paid digital campaigns and lead briefings to our external agencies as well as internal studio and website team
• Manage campaign work backs, creative reviews and cross-functional approvals to deliver campaigns on time and accurately
• Proactively monitor and report campaign performance to optimize paid digital marketing efforts and adjust as required for success
• Develop and implement workflow processes to meet objectives
• Monitor and reconcile the performance marketing budget
• Track and share knowledge of digital marketing strategies, innovation, industry best practices and trends to identify improvement opportunities
• Actively partner with other areas of Marketing, Product, Strategy and Operations to ensure timely execution and brand consistency of campaigns, member communications and promotional activities

 

Who are we looking for?
• Bachelor or Diploma in Digital Marketing, Marketing or a related discipline
• 4 - 6 years of Business experience with emphasis on paid digital/social program management for strong brands
• Expert knowledge of the newest digital marketing media and trends, analytics and monitoring technology
• Interest/passion for digital technology and social media, with a clear understanding of current practices, ecosystems and trends 
• Experience creating and launching multi-platform campaigns (web, social, mobile) 
• Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple marketing disciplines and varying organizational groups 
• Experience within marketing, design/brand or similar field 
• Proven experience driving leads, sales and other key web metrics through the digital channel while deploying strategies to improve overall site traffic
• Experience in the financial sector or similar industry
• Highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong project management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational ability with attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Excellent ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment
• Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations
