What's The Job?


In this role, you will be supporting Strategic Supplier Sourcing at Coast Capital, guaranteeing that third-party goods and services align with the company's business goals. You will oversee the analysis and reporting of strategic sourcing activities and offers recommendations. You'll also deliver expert advice and direction to the department, ensuring goals for productivity, quality, and team morale are met.


What You'll Get To Do


  • Leads and champions the processes for quality assurance, financial monitoring, and sourcing performance management.
  • Develops and presents the department metrics reporting and tableau dashboards.
  • Manages and maintains centralized data repositories.
  • Assists with activities related to social and inclusive procurement including supplier diversity.
  • Conducts financial analysis, costing scenarios, competitive bid analysis and internal continuous improvement initiative analysis.
  • Create reports and statistics to measure commodities and/or savings.
  • Manges compliance reporting for all sourcing activity, including executive-level dashboards.
  • Manages and maintains centralized data repositories.
  • Facilitates the policy and procedure review related to strategic supplier sourcing and corporate real estate.


Who Are We Looking For?


  • 4+ years experience in a similar role
  • Expert knowledge of and experience with the provincial and national marketplace for the goods/services normally required by the Credit Union to support its operations.
  • Highly developed analytical focus and skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge in budgeting and accounting practices
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of local procurement, competitive bidding and contract law and practices.
  • Strong procurement, vendor management reporting and development of metrics and dashboards.
  • Confidence to present, persuade and influence, at a senior management level, to facilitate delivery of innovative sourcing solutions.
  • Expert ability to build and maintain internal client relationships.
  • Exceptional business integrity and sound judgement.
  • Expert communication skills, both written and verbal, internal and external.
