Commercial, Retail and Wealth (CRW) time study is an important initiative which will provide quantitative information on key activities, providing a granular view of activity efficiency within branches. As a Time Study Co-op Student you will document and analyze the activity of member facing staff and bring the data back for Leadership and the Capacity Planning team looking for ways to remove barriers, improve efficiency, and productivity in the Service and Advice space. We anticipate this co-op student will spend time in various CCS locations in the lower mainland and the remaining working time working hybrid at our Help Head Quarters in Surrey.
What you'll get to do.
- Conduct time and motion studies to analyze the workflow and efficiency of service and advice positions.
- Gather data on activities, including transaction times, customer interactions and process durations
- Document and diagram processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Analyze how time is allocated among different tasks and identify opportunities for improvement
- Compare time study metrics against each other to report and analyze variations between positions and locations.
Who are we looking for?
- Ability to analyze complex data sets related to time usage, transaction volumes and sales operations and processes.
- Expert experience in Microsoft Excel (vLookups, Pivot Tables, manipulating data and presenting) and PowerPoint.
- Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis, including statistical methods, data modelling and trend analysis
- Experience in identifying process inefficiencies and developing strategies to optimize workflows and reduce operational costs
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate data collection, analysis and reporting
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, management and stakeholders and to present findings and recommendations
- Reliable transportation to travel to various locations in lower mainland.
